FWIW, Da'Rel Scott had the fastest RB 40 time at the Combine.

Jerald Ingram is going to be busy with the fumble-litis in the backfield.

A little late here.

Happy to see they addressed the DT spot. With Cofield being a FA, they had Canty, Bernard, Joseph (Linval, not William thankfully!), and Hendricks? under contact.

Curious to see what the Giants do with Steve Smith, due to his knee injury and the drafting of Jernigan. I hope they don't lose him, if his knee is fully recovered. Good to see that Jernigan is a KR/PR. Giants always seem to be weak in that area. Manningham is a FA after this year.

I feel like the Jernigan pick was heavily on the ST side. Yeah, he can do slot and wildcat but is Kevin Gilbride that creative in his offensive arsenal? That side I think he is going to be what Sinorice Moss should have been. I think Smith is safe. Too much production and his absence was greatly missed.

The Williams pick also seems to be for ST too.

Very strong draft for both a lot of these names were on my Steelers wish list especially Ellis. The Jets first 3 picks are very good. I love the McElroy pick. They should look for Ugo Chinasa in the UDFA.

The Giants really had a good draft all 8 are very good with an absolute steal of Austin in the second and Sash is a great pick in the 6th.

Rick Gosselin's Draft gems:
http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/nfl-dr ... t-gems.ece

Quote:
Fifth round - JEREMY KERLEY, WR, NY JETS: Not only did the Jets land an accomplished slot receiver, Kerley was one of the five best kick returners in this draft. He averaged 27.2 yards on career kickoffs and 13.8 yards on punts.

Sixth round - TYLER SASH, S, NY GIANTS:

His 4.6 speed pushed Sash into this round. But he’s a three-year starter, a two-time All-Big Ten selection and Iowa’s fifth all-time for interceptions with 13 for a school-record 392 yards.

I like the Packer draft...OT Sherrod, WR Cobb, TE Williams, RB Green, DE Elmore, CB House all look like really good picks and ones that will contribute right away.

Add in the players they lost to injury last year..Finley, Grant, Burnett, Barnett, Jenkins, Bigby to an extent, etc...and we're in good shape.
