Thanks, Hilltop!

The Mrs. and I Moved from Long Island to Indy about 21 yrs ago. If you told me that long time ago that it would host a super bowl, I wouldn't believe you or anyone. This is a sports miracle, especially when you consider Indianapolis a historic basketball city and the Pacers were the talk of the city's sports scene until Jim Irsay and Bill Pollian went to work. I still can't believe it is hosting such an event

Going to the superbowl village is for us our superbowl, unless someone gives us tickets miraculously (lol).

There is a zipline at the village. My wife is thinking about trying it. It's $10 per ride and carries people at least 3 city blocks. Right now , it is the highlight of the village along with the NFL experience exhibit and free concerts. Patti Labelle sang tonight

Hoping to grab some autographs as well around the ESPN lots, etc

Will see if I can take more pictures to share here as the days progress

Thanks for sharing the experience. It's like giving us a little taste of the chaos ourselves!

rejoice1, a little late, but thanks for those pictures. I wish I could post on here more. I have been busy with teaching and grad classes. Very little free time.

Go GGGGGGGGGGGGG-MEN!

Just as a side note, does anyone else think that the coverage of the SB is just so stupid sometimes. By that I mean you have these people who more then likely have not watched a Giants game the whole year and now they are big Giants fans. They could probably name two Giants, Cruz and Eli. This happens everywhere, not only in the NY area, but I just find it annoying at times.

It doesn't help that the Mayor of the city is a Boston boy who last time down the Canyon of Heroes could not even get Bob Papa's name correct. Politicians are the worst with this sort of thing, especially when many of them were totally all over the Jets the last year or so (or Governor Christie the Cowboys fan who has persistently pushed for them to parade down New Jersey.... right.).

I also find it impossible for anybody to say one team has talked too much, especially when the coverage is getting comparatively bigger and bigger.

Just a few thoughts on the game...

-Will be interesting to see if the Pats do a hurry up to try to catch the Giants in some mismatches on defense. Giants will probably have 5 DB's in for pretty much the whole game. How will the Pats use Hernandez and Gronk?

-If the Pats do a hurry up, what will the Giants do on the D-line? Play JPP inside and put Osi at right end -- inviting the Pats to run? Play JPP and Tuck at ends with Canty and Joseph inside --less of a pass rush for the Giants? Will be interesting.

-Giants must limit the YAC.

-Interesting to see how the Pats use Edelman on defense and how the Giants attack him.

-I think the Giants will have trouble running it inside. Don't like Baas going up against Wilfork. Considering this, wonder how the Giants will handle the short yardage situations.

-On ST, I just hope the Giants don't turn it over. Can't expect much in the return game for them.

Enjoy the game.
