Yep, late and fair-weathering this after a nice comeback win that includes two devastating loses among our division rivals.
That said, I am impressed the team has made adjustments since Week 1 despite the depleted depth chart. That said, the games we won are wins that we should have and our October track record is great. It is what happens in late November/December that concerns me moving forward.
Disappointed with the run defense thus far. I guess that is to be expected though when they play a lot in nickel and you are playing some inexperienced guys at LB in Greg Jones and Jacquian Williams. Hoping that Prince can come back and be productive as the 3rd CB so Rolle can go back to being a safety. He just fits much better there. A healthy Tuck is huge as well in the run D department.
Ahhh, Bradshaw with a broken bone in his foot. If he is going to be out I hope the Giants give some touches to Da'Rel Scott. The only way I don't see him getting some playing time if Bradshaw is out would be if they feel like he is terrible at picking up the blitz and that would risk Eli getting hurt. Considering where he is at this stage of his career combined with the Giants O-line not being what it was in 07-08 I don't think Jacobs is the answer.
At San Francisco (who will be tough defensively but I think our concerns on offense will mainly be Gore) that leads off the stretch from hell coming up. Hopefully the guys get healthy quickly.

I guess it's the pessimist in me, but as a Jets fan, I had near-simultaneous feelings of joy when Eli led the comeback against New England and dread that the Jets will face him in what is likely to be an important game.

Chico, I am downright terrified if there is still clinching hanging over the team's head for that game. The schedule shows for both teams, however, that it is pretty likely to be important for both.
What a great game! I have always been an Eli supporter and it is great to see him playing well. Have to give credit to Reese. He was getting criticized earlier in the season regarding Smith and Boss. Cruz and Ballard have stepped up big time.
