Yes. But how involved I am in the super thread is questionable as I have a mid term the following day.

:x

I miss the draft on weekends.

I would like to see the Giants swap picks with the Colts to take that Griffin guy the Redskins seem to be interested in.

That would show them.

For draft trolling, Philly LOVES to do that with Giants picks. Too many examples to cite (We liked McDougle, they leapfrog take McDougle. We liked Maclin, they leapfrog to take Maclin. We liked Graham, they leapfrog to take Graham.) but given that New England also likes to trade down, and they have the luxury of 2 first rounders with one pick above the Giants, I can see Philly moving up if not to take a QB (Reports say they are IN on Tannenhill but they are known to make same off the grid picks be it Kolb or more recently Kafka). Oh how I would love for them to take the 28 year-old QB from OK State. I want a live feed in Philly if that happens. I am still trying to figure out who we would be interested in for them to take. They got Ryans, so not Hightower. Got McCoy, no Martin. Would they try to Gronk-Hernandez with Fleener-Celek? An offensive linemen we both like, maybe?

I can see the colts moving up from the 2nd round and taking Fleener which could hurt us.

Just throwing out a wild suggestion that could have us lose our TE. No way the eagles screw us over this year and take him prospectus  .

Very true. However, I would say it has worked out better for us. McDougle was a bust, I'll take Nicks over Maclin, and Graham hasn't done anything yet. I think we can thank Philly for those picks and trying to "screw" the Giants.

That's why I love their trolling because it seems to always blow up in their faces.

Not to mention we got JPP and Nicks for it...2 future all pros, in addition to a bust in Joseph. They got a good #2 receiver in Maclin and a bust in McDougle and an incomplete on Graham.

Hill, as much as I despise anything eagle not named Dawkins, Maclin is not a number 2. With Eli as his QB, he could easily be the best WR on this team.

Hakeem Nicks will be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks after fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Thursday.

The non-contact injury occurred while Nicks was running a route tree in morning practice. He will undergo surgery Friday to have a screw inserted for stabilization. The timetable provided by the Giants would have Nicks out until the middle of training camp, and perhaps until a couple of weeks before the season opener. This is the latest in a string of lower-leg injuries for Nicks, who has dealt with multiple issues to his toe, foot, ankle, and knee in addition to Compartment Syndrome since joining the Giants in 2009. As long as he's on course over the next couple of months, Nicks will remain a high-risk, high-reward fantasy selection as a top-12 receiver. Rookie Rueben Randle should benefit from picking up valuable first-team reps through training camp.

Yeah bummer. Hope he is back 100% by pre-season with no setbacks. He is such a huge part of the offense, with Cruz a semi-unknown, and a bunch of complete unprovens at the 3.

Giants signed head coach Tom Coughlin to a new three-year, $20 million contract, keeping him under control through 2014.

Coughlin turns 66 in August, so he's now locked in through his age-68 campaign. It will be interesting to see whether GM Jerry Reese grooms DC Perry Fewell to be Coughlin's replacement. Coughlin has coached the G-Men to Super Bowl victories in two of the past four years, joining Bill Parcells and Steve Owen as the three coaches to lead the Giants to multiple world championships. Coughlin will pass Parcells for second in franchise history in coaching victories this year. (Owen is first.)
