The D is swarming and the O is clicking. Good combo.

This defense could finish as the top unit in the NFL.

Great game. Sanchez was excellent, the Tebow Wildcat, not so much. Hopefully Sparano gets a better feel for Sanchez's rhythm; there were a few instances today where he took Sanchez out when there really was no need to.

Stephen Hill proved why preseason results mean junk.

Credit to Austin Howard and whatever help he got: Mario Williams was a complete non-factor.

The defense gave up plenty of garbage time points, but whatever. I still trust them being great. The offense doing what they did was very encouraging.

I'm not about to declare "problem solved", but there's going to be a different thought process for receivers knowing they're going to get smacked by LaRon Landry than what we've had in the past. He has a great understanding of setting the tone early when it comes to hitting people.

I don't know how much help if any Austin Howard got, but he was terriffic as was the entire O-Line in protecting Sanchez. Nice separation from the receivers. I thought the Tebow packages especially when the Jets were driving and in the red zone were needless. I am assuming that with the big lead at the end of the game, they just wanted to try Tebow at the 2 yard line, but obviously it did not work. Otherwise, there's no sense to go to it.

Pretty complete effort.

Of course Super Mario, completely shut down by somewhat-less-than-super Austin, goes to the "Replacement Refs missed all the holds" excuse made famous earlier this week by the less than impressive Giants pass rush.

First game of the year where they utilized the packages - maybe the rhythm wasn't the best with them, but I assume that'll be something that gets better as the season goes on. And I have no issue with Tebow in the redzone - if you're going to do this thing, thats absolutely where he SHOULD be used - much rather that than after a few nice plays and we have the defense on their heels and Sanchez is in a rhythm and we go to a 1st and 10 3 yr keeper up the gut in the middle of the field.

Exactly why I didn't want Tebow here in the first place...you have Sanchez in a rhythm with the offense, he's driving them, and you take him potentially out of his rhythm. And then at the end, you have Greene who ripped off three runs in a row to get them down to the 2, chances are another hand off would have put him into the end zone. But again, they were probably just practicing the Tebow package at that point. All in all, I pretty much dislike Tebow immensely. LOL
