Good win. Ryan Fitzpatrick is horrible. On to Pittsburgh!

Steve, I disagree. I think he is an good football player. Maybe not a good QB, but a good football player. He would be right at home wearing a leather helmet running a single-wing offense.
He has trouble throwing, but not winning.

Stanley Arukwe signed to the practice squad.
If that name doesn't sound familiar, it shouldn't, but he's a former collegiate track star who played 1 year of college football at Troy and has been clocked as fast as 4.19 in the 40.
Just looking at the schedule again, stealing one in Pittsburgh this week could be pretty big.
The pre-bye week part of the schedule is a little rough with this road game against Pittsburgh and then dates with San Francisco, Houston, and New England looming in a 4-week span starting in Week 4. After the bye week, however, it really gets softer: St. Louis, Arizona, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Tennessee, Seattle (some think those last two (three?) teams could be playoff contenders but I'm not buying that all); winning one of the home games against New England and San Diego could be do-able too (ahem, San Diego).
Give me 4-4 entering the bye and I'll be happy; that would require just beating up on Miami (twice) and Indy. If they steal one in Pittsburgh this week though, 5-3 (which would be excellent) could be pretty realistic.

If the Jets are at 5-3 at the bye, no excuses for them not to win 11-12 games. The second half is that easy.

Seth Walder @SethWalderNYDN 1m Sparano said he uses wildcat as an extra timeout with Sanchez. Allows him to regroup with QB for a play while Tebow is on the field. #nyj
Maybe, just maybe, the effectiveness of the Tebow packages need to be measured beyond simply adding up the yards gained on those plays?
