I think we wind up taking those 6 + Saunders. Saunders and Ford should be contributing as KR/PR as well, so we may be able to pull that off
I wonder what they'll do with Richardson, I like him as a backup RB but he's really #4 on the depth chart (Rex said it's gonna be RB by committee between Ivory, Johnson, and Powell).

Salas not dressed tonight.

Not playing tonight for Jets: Pryor, Powell, Salas, Qvale, Evans, Zusevics, Barnes. #nyj
@RichCimini
Pryor coming off the concussion, Powell a hamstring, Evans a shoulder, Qvale a head injury (probably concussion), Zusevics a knee and Barnes still on PUP.
Hadn't heard of anything wrong with Salas. Should mean lots and lots of snaps for Jalen Saunders.

Dee Milliner (ankle) and Dex McDougle (knee) both went down in today's practice and have been sent for MRIs. Not good.
Quincy Enunwa seems to be back healthy and has flashed the past two practices.
Rex said Brian Winters would've gotten a game ball had he given them out for a preseason win. Peculiar because PFF graded Winters out at -2.2 on 26 snaps. Aboushi, fwiw, got a +1.5 on 47 snaps.
Other grades: Demario Davis: +1.8 Tevita Finau: +1.8 David Harris: +1.2 Leger Douzable: +1.1
It was good to see IK Enemkpali finish the game with a strip sack. That's exactly the reason why he was drafted.

Dee is believed to have a high ankle sprain.
Ryan Mathews suffered a high ankle sprain last year and did not miss a game. He played two (playoff) games with the injury. Peyton Manning, C.J. Spiller, Ben Roethlisberger and Roddy White also played through high ankle sprains last year.
On the other hand, Jay Cutler missed around a month last year with a high ankle sprain. Nick Mangold missed two games in 2011 with a high ankle sprain. Aaron Hernandez played only two games in between September 16th and November 22nd after suffering setbacks in his recovery from a high ankle sprain.
I think the goal should be to have him ready to match up against Jordy Nelson Week 2.

Darrin Walls is the least of their worries. Real playing time for luminaries like Ras-I Dowling or Kyle Wilson is the bigger problem.
Good to see John Idzik sticking to his guns though in proclaiming his chasing the "Most unused cap space" trophy was the right call. Absolutely John - good job by you. His reasoning of "building sustained success not from immediate spending" would be laughable but perhaps with a twinge of accuracy if only, uh, football contracts were like those in MLB. The idea that spending cap space today on the cornerbacks available was going to prohibit them from being competitive in the future is absolutely, 100% ridiculous.

Jalen Saunders was involved in a single car accident and is being held at a local hospital as a precaution. He won't travel with team to Cincinnati. Hopefully he's ok.

Salas pretty clearly should be 4. What do you do with the rookies at WR in Saunders and the 6th rounder, are they healthy, especially Saunders....what do you do with Hill ? What do you do with Ford/Gates/Hakeem guys ? Last 3 prob dont make it.
