Thank god we got Milliner back. Now its all clear why we didn't pursue CBs this offseason. True #1 right there.

I can give Milliner a partial pass since he came off a 4-week injury and immediately had to cover a big-time receiver.

That said, I think it reveals what they think of the other corners that they felt compelled to throw Milliner into the fire

There's a reason why he pulled himself.

Call me when Dee Milliner makes one play like Kyle Fuller made multiple of last night.

Hell, I'm Still waiting for Kyle Wilson's emergence.

I'm not sure what I should reasonably expect of a "#1 corner", to be honest.

I think Revis spoiled me and then Cro was pretty close to that level the first year he filled the role.

Those are examples of the ideal, I think.

I just don't know how reasonable it is to expect a team to have one.

Milliner clearly wasn't healthy enough to play. He looked like he was almost limping trying to chase down Nelson and keep up with him. I also think you have to expect some better safety play as well.

Lots of bad decisions by Jets staff, plus bad subbing on Defensive side.

Got greedy with nice lead late in 2nd Q; cost them a turnover and gave Pack time to drive 97 yards.

12 men on field negated Harris pick; 10 men on field forced 2nd timeout of 2nd half

Phantom timeout killed tying TD burned last timeout

Seems to me this is a constant issue with Rex. There always seems to be confusion at one point in every game they play.

Agreed with the greedy part...I would have run more time off the clock and kicked the field goal..."However," Sudfield has GOT to knock the ball down or at the very worst commit an offensive pass interference penalty and tackle the defender.

I saw Kyle Fuller make a couple of insanely athletic, aware-of-where-the-ball-is type plays last night for Chicago. He was the "consensus", what, 3rd best corner in this draft?

I don't think its too much to ask that when you commit a first round pick to a cornerback, you're getting a stud. Otherwise, fill in the spot with the usual grab of later round picks and journeymen the way that Idzik seemed to think you could do it this offseason.

Milliner looks much closer to heading down the Wilson path than he does the Revis or Cro one.

Blasting a guy coming off the high ankle sprain is a bit short sighted. Milliner actually made some very nice plays in the short area, demonstrating great awareness (something Kyle Wilson never does). He was specifically beat when he had to re-accelerate .. and he looked slow compared to how fast we know he is ... this is almost entirely due to the high ankle sprain.

Calvin Pryor taking all kinds of bad angles didn't help.

I thought they should have left Walls and Allen in to play more snaps .. I hope playing Milliner now doesn't delay his recovery to full strength.

I'm blasting a guy coming off an ankle sprain after an awful rookie season after he was drafted to replace, IMMEDIATELY, the best defensive player in franchise history.

This whole "it takes time" thing is not the pace at which the NFL plays. Shelf lives are so short on a lot of these guys that if they need years to get to a certain level, they're not worth the investment because so many things can happen on the way up. And if the crux of the argument is "he hasn't been full strength" then that was a knock on him pre-draft and should've been more closely considered.

New injury for Milliner forced him from practice today: quad tightness.
