I mostly follow the Jets & Giants, but reading up on the Bears trade was pretty darn funny. If that QB works out they may still win the trade, but wow. The criticism and boos, just too funny.
Jets looked like they picked a good guy for their first pick (Jamal Adams), then just to give fans something to boo about, they pick a safety again (Marcus Maye) with their 2nd round pick. Now, perhaps Maye's a good player, but seems an odd choice.

For us Jets fans it's all about the QB class of 2018.
Thought their draft was peculiar. Addressed SS/FS but went too long to add a CB in a deep draft for corners.
The OL class was mediocre so then drafting a TE (which was deep) made sense here.
But I'm worried about Mac's draft acumen/ability.
Just because he spent 2 decades in the scouting department doesn't mean he's a great evaluator of amateur talent..
Let's (please, pretty please) be a 3 win team that shows great upside with their defensive potential (keeping Sheldon was a good thing rather then selling low) and then cross our fingers for a franchise QB.
Please. Pretty please.

It does seem like Mac's approach is to wait til someone falls to him in the 1st round and then just pick random names out of a hat after round 1.
