I love Love but he is a better passing version of Sean May.

I like Augustin, true PG and a nice shooter. I also try to buy the Suns pick as they are always trying to unload or dangle Nate Robinson and his expiring contract to get back into the first round and get CDR. Finally in the second i get Chris Lofton, he is recovering from cancer and if D'Antoni goes with the SSOL offense he can shoot and fill it up. He fell off this year as he was recovering from cancer.

I also move Steph to the 2, the position he should have been playing his entire life.

Wasn't that amazing that he decided to hide his cancer and played admirably while recovering?
As for Love he is a better passer than May but that is it.

Gallinari for me. Mayo is a distant second. I want no part of Eric Gordon.

Gallinari reminds me a lot of Nowitzki with his combo of a developing post-up game and his ability to shoot pull-up and fadeaway jumpers. He's not soft like Bargnani and has the vaunted "PG-skills in a PF body." He's an extremely versatile player too and would be a perfect fit for this offense.

Random note, but I think Wilson Chandler can be beastly with D'Antoni. Chandler and Gallinari in a starting lineup would be fun to watch. I think a lineup with Crawford (another guy who fits well), Chandler, and Gallinari would be a lot of fun and would put up a lot of points.

Bottom line, the Knicks have a ton of ways to go with the pick. If Walsh is smart, let Steph stick around and let his contract expire. If he plays well, great. If he stinks, no big deal. In that case, drafting a PG is not a huge need. For me, there's Derrick Rose and then there's nobody else capable of running this offense.

Knicks should trade some dead-weight and try to get a 2nd this year- there are a lot of good shooters that will be available in the 2nd like Roby or Lofton. The Knicks desperately need a good perimeter shooter- Q can't shoot anymore and Crawford is inconsistent.

Why so quick to dismiss Eric Gordon? The kid has game.

Gordon is interesting and can score but can he play PG? Right now i think the Knicks need a PG and I'd go with Augustin.

My mistake earlier i did not realize the Knicks didn't have a 2nd rounder this year

Mayo is my pick, Gallinari is growing on me and I think Gordon would be a good pick. He has long arms and can certainly play the point.

the prayer is mayo.
i am torn between gallinari and westbrook.
the gallinari thing is that he is an unknown. his video's are great. if you can come up with a poor man's grant hill or larry bird how could you pass it up? i think he will be better than the guy from toronto. this is a trust pick. that means you have to trust donnie and mike.
westbrook i heard described today as the defense of raja bell with the offense of barbosa. i heard comparisons to a young steve francis. athletic as hell and more than likely the safer pick. his jumpshot has improved according to all reports.
i don't know, it's tough. but everytime i think about it till i'm sick of it i keep coming back to westbrook. also if we traded down to the nets picl and expect to get westbrook forget it. he will be gone. his workouts have rocked!

There is a rumor that Bayless wants to go to NY and will not workout for teams above NY. I btw do not believe this rumor.

Well, he trains with Nash so I'm not surprised he wants to play for D'Antoni. His play is so perfectly suited to D'Antoni's offense too.

Then again, nothing goes the Knicks way so I expect everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
