Kobe.

Should never be in the same sentence again.

The C's up 29 with 10 to play, I think this lead is safe.

I dont' think this is fair.

But I assume that if this how you feel you'll also agree that Brady and Montana should never be in the same sentence again... right?

I feel the game has totally changed and that if MJ played today he would average 45 points. (Hand-check rules)

I also wrote that after Kobe's team blew a 20-something point lead at home in a must win game, something Mike never did.

I just think the comparison is unfair, Kobe is Kobe, Mike is Mike.

Kobe has won a total of ZERO championships being the number one player on the team. MJ won six.

I think Kobe and MJ can be compared again if Kobe wins multiple titles in a row. That statement was made on emotion (and through hating Kobe) and there are certain things he could do where I would compare them.

To your point on Brady, I didn't talk much on the board after the Giants won the Super Bowl but one of the things I said to my brothers over and over was that losing a Super Bowl really hurts Brady in terms of history. Just like what Kobe would need to do, what Brady would need to catch up to Montana now is almost impossible. That really is what made the Super Bowl hurt the most.

I'm almost not one to compare QBs from different era's, different team's, etc. My main point with Brady was that he was the best QB in the league and that it would be seen if the Patriots got some receivers. He's my favorite player ever, and if I had one game to win I'd pick him because as TO says "That's my quarterback" ::sniffle:: ::sniffle::

I'm not a fan of either team, But I am a fan of Kevin Garnett, who after years of toiling for teams in minnesota and getting traded, finally wins a championship

That is basically my case. Also a fan of Ray Allen who was in a similar situation.

Meh, I don't feel for Allen.

I did root for the Big Ticket, though I hate Boston. You couldn't have had a Finals with two teams that I detest more so I had to root for the team with the one person I actually like. Plus, those Lakers fans are really annoying (or just more annoying than the Celtics fans!).
