Remembering-

Spring time meaning shaved heads

X-man putting the fear in Scottie

LJ being too unselfish

Oak slapping up Thorpe

Starks kissing the logo on the Garden floor

Blowouts bringing chants for Herb

Everyone wanting blood when Jordan came to town

Pride and Grit taking over when Ewing went down

Chants for Van Gundy

The Grunfeld masks

Chants of “Pizza Pizza!!” for the defense to provide free food from Dominoes, again

Damon Stoudamire trade rumors

Ewing’s shot off glass vs Bulls ‘97

Mitch Richmond trade rumors

Oded Katash as future point guard

Walter McCarty singing the national anthem

The chants of defense in the 1st quarter of a big game without cues from an organ

Brooks Thompson as future point guard

The Knicks being the toughest ticket in town

Yeah, and if you're using the "He's 19" logic, then I guess the best report a scout could give us is:

"I have no idea. He's a teenager. He may go through 5 arm surgeries between now and his 30th birthday. He may add a pitch. He may lose a pitch. He may put on 30 lbs and add velocity. He may put on 50 lbs and eat his way out of the league. I literally have no idea what he is going to be."

But thats not what these guys are paid to do, nor what we are looking for them to do, right?

The knicks of Ewing, Starkes, and Oakley were an entertaining and intense group. It's ironic looking back how some in the sports media made fun of the knicks back then for being too defense oriented and threatening to ruin NBA basketball

I still can't believe he never won a ring.

Also, Daaaarryyl, how could you forget Riley's Betrayal and the Knicks-Heat rivalry?

LOL if I posted everything I remembered from that time I'd still be typing. I just tried to bring up the moments people may have forgotten.

Was watching parts of a game 7 playoff game between knicks and pacers of ESPN classic today

Knicks were intense team
Pacers were fun team to watch and "owned" the city of Indianapolis

Now both are at the bottom, trying to be at least competitive again.

Those were fun days and a fun rivalry
