hopefully the Knicks can also dump Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries ... which will free up more money for 2010.

With the salary cap around 60 million ... The Knicks could have potentially around 45 million to play with (+ a mid level excemption)

I think the Knicks could get 2 big names (King James and Bosh) + 2 vets (Steve Nash, Raja Bell)

question for capoligists...

after they sign the big free agents and more than likely reach the cap point ... can they than resign DLee and Al Harrington using the Larry Bird rule ?

This would be my Knicks dream team for 2010

Steve Nash
Raja Bell
Wilson Chandler
King James
Chris Bosh

Bench: Al Harrington, David Lee, Gallinari, Stephen Curry (2009 draft pick)

I'd rather have most of those "Great vets/solid role players/under the radar" guys over the "Very good players".

I want Lebron and Bosh to max deals, and Nash to a low cost short term deal so he can finish his career with a title shot with D'antoni.

Thanks.

the frustrating thing for me is who knows what they have with Gallinari. I was hoping hard for Augustin and right now it would be a nice piece to have for the future, Gallinari not so sure with his bad back.

I have this weird feeling Nash will come to the Knicks for a 2 year deal. Also watch out for Joe Johnson.

Hopefuly we know more by 2010. If he shows himself to be a legit player, plus the continued Chandler development, plus the 09 pick, we'd be a lot more attractive to potential FA's.
