Don't sleep on Hill. I think he will be a good player, they just don't give him any minutes. But when he's played he has looked good. I think right now they are trying to showcase the veterans for possible trades in order to try and clear Curry and/or Jeffries for 2010.

And now we're 3-9. Tough road up ahead though the next 8 games-Celtics, Lakers, Kings, Nuggets, Magic, Suns, Magic, Hawks. We could possibly lose all 8, although hopefully we can beat the Kings minus Kevin Martin.

Agreed. On a better team with a space for him to play he would be contributing quite nicely.

chris duhon is averaging .252 in shooting percentage and .196 from 3. he came into camp out of shape. i noticed he looked fat. how this man is getting 35 minutes a game is a disaster. play douglas or sign iverson. duhon should not play the rest of the year. he is worthless and we aren't getting anything for him in a trade.
play hill, douglas, danillo, darko, nate and landry. cut harringtons minutes. paste jeffries to the bench. the jazz are going to get the 1st pick in the draft because of isiah. iverson said he's gonna retire now. the knicks should sign him and see if he can play well so that he might be tradeable at the deadline. at his worst he is 50 times better than duhon.

what happened to chandler? the coach has been terrible. 3 and 12. they have to blow off the vets and just say screw it. the only reason i have any thought of iverson is because he can bring up his value. duhon has killed his career.
donnie and d'antoni have been pathetic too.

They've had a nice little run now..<Don't get too excited as every team has a nice streak at some point of their season> But it is interesting how much better they look at both ends with 1) an 8 man rotation 2) Nate chained to the bench.

Funny, I'm not usually a big fan of the 8 man but realize it does bring a team (unit) together and may be working some here. And Nate, just deal him already. I like shoot first 5'7 guards as much as I like error prone shortstops..

Good overall effort last night w/no real "star" of the game (although Hughes was nice with 21 off the bench) which is the way this team needs to play in order to win ie defense/ball movement.

Really wondering however what the deal is with Chandler. Has he not fully recovered from the surgery? He hasn't been bad but he's being given a great opportunity to thrive and possibly take over a game or a quarter at least and he has not shown too much. IDK, maybe it is the injury..

Anyway, not a bad little run...Let's see if they continue..

Yeah, and if you're using the "He's 19" logic, then I guess the best report a scout could give us is:

"I have no idea. He's a teenager. He may go through 5 arm surgeries between now and his 30th birthday. He may add a pitch. He may lose a pitch. He may put on 30 lbs and add velocity. He may put on 50 lbs and eat his way out of the league. I literally have no idea what he is going to be."

But thats not what these guys are paid to do, nor what we are looking for them to do, right?

I never liked Nate Robinson, I think its all but guaranteed that he's not with this team for the long run. A 5'7 shoot first (and second and third) PG is not a part of a winning team, be it in the 70s or 2000s.

Isiah Thomas was reported to truly be south of 6 foot and he did pretty well. Robinson is a good player, has played well for the Knicks and will again play well but I too do not think he will be around next year.

Nate's a headcase who doesn't play defense....Toney Douglas at least tries to on d

Not a coincedence they are playing better (3of4) with Nate on the bench and a shorter rotation

And the Knicks win again! 4 in a row. Let's get that 8 seed!

I don't see any reason Nate should step on the court any time soon

Heck, my favorite whipping boy Duhon even had a nice game. Harrington is really playing lights out. After the whole drama with Wade/Lebron/etc. is ironed out, I think it would make sense to bring him back since he really wants to stay in NY and would likely take a discount.

Gallinari is a phenomenal shooter too. I'm still not happy with where Chandler is at right now but this team is getting better with every day.

The most surprising Knick has been Jared Jeffries

The guy is not much on the offensive end, but he really does a lot of stuff that doesn't show up on the stat sheet (loose balls, tips, proper position, screens etc)

Harrington could be a great piece in the puzzle.
