Nate is probably one of the best athletes in all of professional sports. I know he has his flaws, but his upside is so huge that I don't know what the Knicks have to lose by just running him out there every night and seeing how he matures. I mean, how many guards in the league can go out and do what he did tonight?

I think what D'Antoni did by the benching might end up being the turning point of Nate's career. Nate was humbled and took it the right way, by continuing to work hard in practice and try to better himself.

Nate was focused tonight like never before. He was as hot as hot can be. His defensive intensity was way up there as well. Obviously he can't shoot 75% from the field every night but he has big-time ability. Grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 8 assists is also quite the feat for Nate.

I look forward to seeing if this is a one-night occurrence or if Nate can finally fulfill his seemingly infinite potential.

I can't help but wonder if they will begin to showcase him now. I don't think they see him as an essential piece going forward, and if they let him get his minutes and his points, perhaps they can trade him and Jeffries or Curry to a team with an expiring contract and a need for scoring off the bench.

His problem has always been on the other end of the court. If he ever decides to focus on defense he can become a really good player.
