According to Knicks beat writer Alan Hahn the Knicks are very close to sending Nate Robinson to the Celtics but the teams are looking for a third club to complete the deal. Robinson's contract is apparently the issue but things look to be very close. The Knicks are also expected to get a draft pick out of this deal which is a bonus. The guard will probably be out of New York by the end of the day
Nate as good as gone I think- if he doesnt help the Celts he can always suit up as the mascot

If the Knicks can convert Nate into a draft pick I'm all for it.

Why the hate for Nate? I don't get it and never have.
He's a good bench option.
He's way overrated because he's a freak athlete. He's a defensive liability, and he makes some pretty poor decisions on the offensive side. He's too small to be a true SG and he lacks the court vision / passing skills to be a true PG.
He's a good change of pace player, but at this point I'd rather take my chances with a second round pick than keep Nate. He's not staying in NY after this season anyway.

Oh, I agree, I'd take a 2nd rounder for Nate.
