i think Nate would be a good player for boston

when he's on , he is pretty unstoppable on offense

his small size allows him to penetrate past bigger players with relative ease ...and his freak athletic ability allows him to score upon the taller trees

(thats my walt clyde moment)

anyway , i would hope to get at least a late 1st round or early 2nd round pick ... a late 2nd round pick is pretty lame..

how about nate + our 38th pick for Boston's 25th pick

nah, Nate only cares about Nate. He's going to ruin KG's life by making him a babysitter

Why the hate for Nate? I don't get it and never have.

He's a good bench option.

Because he doesnt respect the game- which is all about TEAM.

I dont like selfish, showboaters with zero track record of winning. He acted like a 14 year old while he was a Knick. He may have been nice to fans, but showed no commitment to improving himself or his mates

First of all you are wrong about Nate... Nate's game has improved 10 fold. Second of all you must hate almost ever player in the nba.

tmac was traded to the kings

i guess the knicks didn't want to give up that extra draft pick

i don't blame them ... the knicks should be able to trade jeffries without giving up a draft pick + hill

a deal still might go down between the kings and knciks now..

Since it looks like T-Mac is coming here, let me ask the NBA guys on the forum a question. Let's say McGrady still has something left in the tank - you know, can put up 16 or 18 a game. Can the Knicks re-sign him and 2 big time guys (Bosh, Lebron)? I'm asking about the salary cap stuff specifically.

I wouldn't.

I'd sign Lee before TMac.

No they barely have enough for 2 max free agents (barring a Curry buyout). We would likely have to fill the rest of the team out with cheap vets or try trading Curry's expiring deal for a better player with a longer deal.

So, TMac being a Knick already doesn't give them carte blanche to pay him whatever they want? Isn't their some kind of Larry Bird rule?

Yea but you have to be with a team for a few years for that to work. And the amount of a bird rule goes against the cap until you renounce the bird rights to a player. So Lee counts against the cap for something like 10 plus million until we renounce his Bird rights.
