That was a rather absurd way to end the season.

Crap, I had a feeling the Rangers had it in them to let down their fans.

Flyers and Devils first round is gonna be exciting though!

Torts is coming back.

Sather has got to go. The guy has been here since 2000 and he has TWO playoff series wins to show for it, TWO. Holik, Kasparaitis, Drury, Redden, Brashear, Gomez, Kotalik, Hugh Jessiman, etc. Who is the only player drafted in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft to not play at least one game in the NHL...you guessed it Hugh Jessiman, drafted by Sather. Well you know one thing, Dolan is very very loyal.

If Sather doesn't go, he must have pictures of the Dolan family stashed away. 10 year and zilch.

The Rangers have been amazing so far. Really curious to see how long this lasts.

The Rangers are for real. They have scoring, physical play, and perhaps the best goal tender in the league.

Yes, I never thought they would be this good of a team, although it is still early. The key IMO is Gaborik. He has to be a constant threat unless they will struggle to score consistently. Ideally, they could use another top 6 forward, but that is not happening. On D, it would be great to have Staal and Sauer back. That would take some pressure off of Girardi (leads the league in TOI) and McDonagh. I have ripped Sather in the past but he has built a nice blueline for the Rangers.

Has anyone watched 24/7? That series is fantastic.

That was a great series. I love listening to on ice chatter. I have ripped Sather for years and was just thinking that I really do not have a leg to stand on here.

Agreed, the on ice chatter is awesome. I just find it funny to see what NHL players and coaches get away with as opposed to the NBA. In the NBA, you waive your hand at the ref and you get a technical foul. In the NHL you can call the ref a ^@#$*# @$$%#*^ and you get NOTHING.
