Roberto Luongo has now allowed just 17 goals in his last 14 games.

Not that Rangers have been playing well otherwise...

You're right, the Rangers need a visit to the Prudential Center really soon.

Careful what you wish for. The Devils are bound to turn it around against the NY teams.

A good game for my Canes against the Rangers. 3-1 final.

Its too bad that Walker did not break the Punk's face in the fight, it would have been appropriate payback for what he did last month to Ladd.

BTW, the Ranger radio color man (I think its Maloney) is just plain aweful. Kenny Albert is a very good play-by-play guy, but the color guy is as big a homer as their is in sports radio telecasts. :-&

Actually, I was hoping the Punk broke Walker's face. Great non-call on that boarding btw, I'm glad to see Avery stick up for his teammates.

A 5-0 lead that turns into a loss, wow reminds me of some Met games from last year

Geez. How do you blow a 5-0 lead?

I still can't believe the Devils are leading the division despite NOT WINNING A GAME against the Rags and Isles. Very strange.

Meanwhile, the Islanders are playing better lately and are just 3 points from joining the other 4 Atlantic teams in the playoff picture. That would be pretty cool.

Laugh it up Devil fans, they certainly deserve it. Ya know what, good for the Habs and their fans though because that was an unreal display of support for a team that was down 5 goals midway through (littering the ice with garbage not withstanding). Having said that, it was easily the most frustrating loss since I could remember. This team can't afford to stop playing for a 30 minute stretch and just coast to an easy 2 points. I don't think it's part of a lingering problem because they have been generally good at protecting leads in the 3rd period so I'd like to think last night was more of a fluke than anything. As long as they can keep this 6th seed, I'll be happy.

Seems like people only post in here after the Rangers lose. 6-0-2 in their last 8. This team is good again.

I did not see one minute of the game as I was on a plane, but the result was certainly not good. :(

My understanding from reading the papers this morning was that the Rangers controlled the play for the 1st period and a half going up 3-0, but then the Canes woke up and took it to the Rangers for the rest of the game. Hank and a very pretty goal by Shannahan saved the game for the Rangers.

Is this about right?
