Does anyone realize what this guy is doing for the Pens?

Marc-Andre Fleury goes down with an injury and the Penguins floudering, and backup Dany Sabourin has been unspectacular.

So the Pens put in Conklin.

7-0-0!
2.00 GAA
.939 SV% (244-15)

Not bad for a 31 year old journeyman from Arkansas.

Another great game for Conklin.

Marc-Andre who?

Seriously, I was kidding when I made this thread, but now you've really got to wonder what the Pens have here.

They have Malkin.

Some other guy too. He hasn't played in a while.

Gonna be a tight race the rest of the way for that #1 seed.

They've gotta be the most fun team in the league to watch.

A great team for non-hockey fans to start off on, although waiting until Crosby gets back might be a good idea :)

Have you been to any games this year? One of the few things I miss about Pittsburgh...

I saw them get beat by New Jersey in October. That was the game where everyone threw their mousepads on the ice. Ugly lost with a ton of Penguin penalties.

I'm going to Saturday's game against the Senators. That should be a great game. Tomorrow against Montréal is another important game. They could move to the #1 seed by the end of this weekend.

Malone, R. (PPG, 06:59 in 2nd)
Malkin, E. (10:22 in 3rd)
Gonchar, S. (PPG, 10:58 in 3rd)

That's how you win without Crosby.

I think they should put Crosby on the second line when he comes back. You hardly want to mess with what's working.

Sid and Malkin can put on a show but I think it's in the best interest of the team to have them on different lines.
