And this series is pretty much over. For the first time all series, I really felt like we were totally outmatched tonight. Despite being outshot about 2:1, Pittsburgh had the better of the scoring chances, the better goaltending play and by far the better special teams. Malkin has been the best player in this series and probably the best player in the playoffs to this point. Fleury really got tested tonight and responded well. What else can I say other than I hope that this is the last time I see Ryan Hollweg in a Rangers jersey.

In addition to Avery, it appears the Rangers will be without Chris Drury and Blair Betts tonight.

Lauri Korpikoski will make his NHL debut.

It seems Jason Strudwick will replace Christian Backman in the lineup. Hopefully for their sake they'll bench Ryan Hollweg too.

I'd think the Rangers would play well tonight but you'd have to expect the Pens to put them out of their misery no later than Game 5.

Quite the time to make your debut.

No Drury probably makes Buffalo fans happy.

Sure enough Drury is playing.

Hollweg and Orr are both in the lineup for the Rangers. I would have scratched both of them and dressed Korpikoski and P.A. Parenteau. Those two are useless in this type of situation (down 3 games to none).

Probably the best game the Rangers have played in the playoffs to this point. Lundqvist, Jagr and Dubinsky were the best players on the ice tonight. For one of the greatest players in the sport, could Malkin have had a weaker attempt on that penalty shot? The Rangers played a real strong 3rd period defensively, something I need to see more of. Kudos to Mara for going after Malkin for doing his best Rutuu impression. If this gets back to MSG on Monday, things could get real interesting.

Lets go Rangers!

A win today in Pittsburgh would be huge going back to the Garden tomorrow!

Can't say I'm particularly impressed so far. Too much of this game is being played in the Rangers defensive zone.

But great PK.

Ruutu with a bad penalty.

Good job by NBC showing that shot from the Olympics between him and Jagr.
