I had to laugh with the way the Atlantic Division shook out.
Devils went 6-0-0 against the Penguins this year and barley edged them out for the division and #2 seed only to have to face the one team that pretty much owned them during the regular season. Some reward. I bet they would have rather had the Senators in the first round.

Who would they have had had they lost that last game to the Sabres? The Bruins? I would have preferred a match up like that, but things don't seem to be going so well for the Sabres at the moment (down 3-1 as well...).

No, would have still been the same matchups.
The Devils have those spurts where you can't beat them and they look like they're primed for a Cup run. Unfotunately for them, those spurts usually happen in November and December and not April and May.
