Entering the 7th period (4th OT)...

Shots are 66-44 Dallas through 3 OTs...there were 8 goals scored in the first 53 minutes of this game. No goals in the past 67 minutes...

Crazy.

NHL playoffs are just great- 76 shots on goal and they lose, that's amazing.

I couldn't hang with it after the 2nd OT.

Is anyone else following this series? Another game, another overtime. Brendan Morrow just scored in OT to push this series to a sixth game, with Vancouver leading it 3-2. Turco and Luongo have both been playing out of their minds. Anyone who likes low scoring affairs, superb goaltending and the inevitable 60+ min of hockey has to love this series. It's been one of the most entertaining thus far.

the best quaterfinal series in the playoffs... my girlfriend is from Vancouver so I have to follow the series closely... Pyatt mght be a star in the making... I see a lot of similarities between the 'Nucks and the Devils aside from the goaltending...

Pyatt has been a pleasant surprise. His younger brother, Tom, is actually in the Rangers organization and is moving up the ranks pretty quickly. It's really a shame that these games start so late (although completely unavoidable) because people are definitely missing out. I haven't seen two goaltenders play so equally well in a series in quite some time.

I've been watching what I can of this series on the CBC internet feeds. I must say its my favorite first round series (besides the Devs Bolts of course...) Last night was their 3rd OT game of the first 5, simply a quality hockey series...

Game 7 tonight in Vancouver. Turco coming off of back to back shutouts. Vancouver hasn't scored in 6+ periods. Nothing beats a game seven.

And Vancouver takes it, 4-1. A little misleading with the two empty netters, it was a close game throughout. With Luongo's sick save on Stu Barnes with a little over 10 min left and a little help from the crossbar, the Canucks survived a rather sloppy finish to this series. Everything in the world was being called, on both sides, as Trevor "Mr. Game 7" Linden notches the game winner. Definitely feel bad for Marty, but at the very least he silenced all of those who doubted he could play at a high level in the playoffs.

And now the Western Conference is set:
Anaheim-Vancouver
Detroit-San Jose

I'm loving all four series.
