Big game tonight down in Tampa.

I was disappointed to see them come out so flat early on Saturday night. We've been great at home all year, and the loss really surprised me.

Really? Wasn't the whole reason your GM took over as coach because the Devs lacked any edge or sense of urgency? It shouldn't be shocking that they lost that game and it shouldn't be shocking that they probably won't start playing like they can until they lose at least one more...

I thought they came out in Game 1 with a lot of energy and sharpness and I thought that would continue with Lou behind the bench. So, I'm surprised they looked as listless as they did at points in Game 2.

I don't think the players have any excuses now. This is precisely why I think Lou made the coaching change the way he did. There won't be any player questioning the coaching after the series, or offering any kind of excuse.

Game 3 is going to be gut-check time. This isn't a "must-win", but I think we'll find out what this team is capable of after tonight.

Lou believes this team has the makings of a Cup contender, and I have believed this all season. It's time for the players to prove it.

I have yet to be able to watch a game live since the national playoff coverage for the first round is terrible, but from what I have seen from the highlights, Brodeur does not look to be as dominant as he should be.

Am I right, or are the Tampa Bay goals just all off tips and deflections where it is almost impossible for him to even stop them?

enjoy!

Thanks!!! I won't be able to watch the game tonight, but this will be awesome for the rest of the series and next round!

What ch. is this game on tonight? I'd like to flip back and forth between this and the Buffalo-Long Island game...

Devils were severely outplayed the first period. they were being pushed around, Marty let in another relatively soft goal, and they couldn't seem to get any chances going offensively... they better step it up or they are going to be in trouble.

Yeah, we don't get FSNY2 (or MSG2) on Time Warner in Manhattan... and since it's not on the common "overflow channels" (CSPAN or CSPAN2) I assume they're not airing it in NYC proper.

Boy, it's a strange feeling sitting there and watching Brodeur give up soft goals. Really not used to it...
