Joe and Evan said that there were fans who intentionally made noise during the moment of silence for the Virginia Tech victims.

Is that true?

If it is, that's even MORE classless than their antics at the end of the game.

Yes I was there, here is my view of things. They showed the inspirational video and got the fans riled up with the Islander intros. Then they announced a moment of silence. Up in the 300s I think sections 333/334 there was some back and forth stuff still going between some Buffalo fans and Islander fans. Once they were told to shush everything became quiet and then a fan yelled out "Rangers Suck C***" and it could be heard throughout the arena, although admittedly I did laugh at this, it was a pretty classless thing by that guy who was probably already bombed. It probably wasnt the greatest idea to ask for the moment of silence right after they just told to fans to get up and send them into a frenzy. Despite the idiocy all the fans at the game shouldn't be indicted by one idiot or in the case of the bottle throwing 100 idiots.
