I am looking for everyone's thoughts on Peyton Manning's future, with particular interest on our Colts' fans and rejoice who is Indy right now, hearing the local sports chatter.

I've heard he is still having trouble throwing the ball plus as hard as a worker he is, you must question his kind of shape. So basically, will Peyton play again? If you wish, throw in your thoughts on which team. Personally, I do not believe he stays with the Colts or any other team. I foresee him taking another year off to rehab his neck, get back in shape, and test out his health before making a decision. Basically a "Brett Favre Retirement."

They won't pay him 28 million, and neither will anybody else at this point, considering he can't play as of now. Release.

I greatly admire Peyton Manning who if I had a top 10 list of favorite athletes he would be right up there. It hurts to see the frustration on the face of an an all time great whose career could be over due to these multiple surgeries.

The Mrs. and I talked about this. We both reached the conclusion that even if he reasonably heals up, his days as a colt are numbered.

If there was a team built around a particular star, it was this past era colts with Peyton. But now with coaches gone, Pollian gone, Jeff Saturday considering retirement, and a change in organizational philosophy, Manning probably sees the handwriting on the wall.

Kind of sad..
