Bay was originally in lineup, Wright not, but for some reason when they inserted Wright, they took Murphy out as well and shifted Turner.
Gotta find a spot in that lineup for JT I guess.
Is it really wrong to be upset Bay won't be out a long time? If so...
I wouldn't be upset if they just released him, but a 2 week DL stint likely means another 40 man cut for a short-term roster spot since I doubt they give up on him. Or at the very least, if at some point sense comes forward and they decided to carry someone like Valdy for a short period in lieu of Rottino, this would almost then assuredly bring Rottino back into the fold.
But doesn't seem likely at this point - think this is truly a precautionary scratch. But you never know with the Mets.

And they're all poor man versions of Conor Jackson, I think.
Meanwhile we have Josh Satin, who is probably trying to become a rich man's Conor Jackson/Nick Evans, and stick on a bench.
And they all quietly hope they can turn one decent season of pinch hitting one day soon into a lifetime of guaranteed bench jobs, like the man they all aspire to be: Wes Helms.
