Booing is childish to me because it accomplishes nothing. Booing Jason Bay when he strikes out isn't going to bring back his bat speed. Booing Jason Bay for not hustling could lead to him giving better effort. Basically, it's whining to boo a guy with no end goal other than to vent, and to make a guy who's trying his best feel like crap so you can feel better about your life (not you, just everybody in general).

I don't go to games but I sure would have booed that effort on the flyball that dropped in by the wall yesterday.

I boo to send a message to the Front Office that I won't stand for mediocrity, to voice my displeasure with EFFORT and to hold someone accountable. I'd never boo my players before or during an at bat - makes no sense.

I certainly boo the other team!

Booing in a personal choice but if you criticize ME for doing it I would suggest that you're the type that doesn't hold anyone accountable.
