I think it's Ike's turn for a day off. Give him tomorrow.

Give him tonight.

I'm a fan of giving a guy a full day when you give him a game off. He's already playing today, I don't think it'll have as much of an impact if you just give him tonight off when he already played in the afternoon, and then throw him right back in there tomorrow night.

Classic 2012 Mets game. 5 walks, seeing a ton of pitches, 1 run in the 6th.

Nice job by Hefner--I guess that has to be the silver lining to this otherwise miserable game. I say keep the kid and send Batista to the boonies. Please.

Duda 4 walks the last 2 games... maybe he's starting to see the ball better.

OBP around .400 vs Lincecum. 1 run scored.

Mets trying to take down MONEYBALL and prove Sandy and D3PO are just nerds who don't understand WINZ.

Dan Warthen goes to the mound, Mets pitcher immediately implodes.

Dave Righetti goes to the mound, Giants pitcher turns into Pedro Martinez.

That's now 8 stranded for Ike alone.

He and DW on the verge of team records together?

If Baxter is going to strike out this much, might as well give Loewen a call.
