Side note made somewhat appropriate by the Valdespin start.
To his credit, Evan Roberts has been aware of Valdespin since at least the offseason, which puts him way ahead of the other FAN hosts when it comes to knowledge of Mets prospects.
However, he continues to call him Valdespin, with the last syllable rhyming with spin, as in spin doctor.
Today, discussing Schwinden, Evan said he was happy the Mets weren't force-feeding Matt Harvey and "Jesus" Familia.
