To make room for Emaus and Lewis I would assume they send Blaquiere back into nowhere world and Loewen to the DL. They could use someone else like McHugh as the 5th starter but I'd just assume Owen is that guy right now.
Lutz probably rejoins in 5 days. Be curious to see what happens then with Emaus.
Barring a DL stint from someone like Scales, there's no other place but the bench, really. He'll probably get in there when Scales gets a day off or when Lutz plays 1B. One of Fisher or Tuiasosopo seem like an obvious roster casualty from Lutz's return; just no need to have Emaus plus 2 of them on the bench. I'd probably dump both and promote Josh Rodriguez.
MJ, you did note Scales appeared to be hurting after running the bases yesterday. He was removed later that game, which may or may not have been a coincidence; perhaps he ends up on the DL. That would definitely clear up some playing time in the short term.
Edit: To add more chaos to the picture, Anthony DiComo says Havens is ready to return. He'll definitely go to AA but I can't imagine he'll be long for the league (if he can stay healthy, which we all know is far more than a formality for Reese). Let's also not forget Josh Rodriguez knocking on the door for a promotion. The 2B situation is really chaotic.
Either way, I don't think Mike Harrington will have much to bicker about; once that lineup gets Lutz back, it's going to be look pretty darn good.
Yeah the Scales thing definitely bears monitoring. Also, wonder how serious this foot thing is with Loewen. SSS and all, but he was killing the ball just prior to going down.
I think Emaus might prove threatening to Satin more than anyone else over time, though.

I was all aboard the Emaus train last year and was disappointed when he disappointed in a handful of ABs and the Mets gave up on him. I'm jazzed that he's back. Why not? 26 years old...raked his way through the minors thus far. Can't hurt.
Fred Lewis is kinda meh at his age. He had a nice start to his career in SF a few years back and then fizzled out...injuries?

No knock on Pascucci, but I'd like to see Lutz, Satin, and Emaus getting the lion's share of the ABs (not that I expect that to happen).
Pascucci is going to play. The fans love him and he's a AAA beast. It means nothing to us as Mets fans but as an organization they want Buffalo to be happy and Pascucci over Satin or Emaus isn't a big deal in their eyes.

Thus why I don't expect it to happen. In the name of development, however, I'd rather see guys who harbor some room for growth.

Yeah, Emaus (who is not on the 40-man) seems to put a target squarely on Satin (who is on the 40-man). Mets can try to sneak him through waivers and if he's grabbed, there is a backup plan. Though The Emu needs to show he can hit at a AAA affiliate that doesn't play its games in shoeboxes a mile above sea level.

Growth was probably the wrong word, but Satin still has a tiny bit of unknown to him, while Pascucci is the epitome of the Quadruple-A slugger.
The Pascucci situation is a classic example of the things a team must do to manage affiliates that are not necessarily completely tied to the MLB club. Seems like the org is doing their best this year to keep everyone happy in Buffalo.

China, Exactly. I think they would prefer giving Pascucci 500 ab's a year at the expense of some for the Satin's of the world if it keeps Buffalo happy.
