Any chance they just pitch Dickey on 3 days' rest next time so they don't have to call someone up?

I think there's a chance they could coordinate the extra day or two by managing some of the roster moves they have to make anyway.

Seems like Batista will be going on Monday now instead of Hefner. I don't know why they want to force him up here.

Leave him in to pitch the 1st No-Hitter in franchise history, or give another start to Miguel Batista.

Hmmmm.

Tough call........

Not tough at all :D
I will trade a bad start by anyone in return for a no hitter

Unless the roster management gremlins disrupt the flow, it should be reasonably easy to get an extra day in there.

Send down Egbert for Batista or Young. They make a spot start and then either Batista or Hefner goes to the pen as the long man. That's the obvious way to get him at least 1 day of extra rest.

I'm going to the game on Friday. Would be nice if they pushed him back 'til then. I'm curious of the reception he'd get at Yankee Stadium.
