I know this has been discussed all over the place, but has there been a final determination of what the rotation is going to be for the next week?

Hum? Seems like it would make more sense to get another start out of Hefner before sending him down...assuming he'll be one of the guys sent down.

I guess it depends on how much extra rest they want for Santana, but they could do something like start Hefner, then send him out and activate Batista to start the next day.

If that was the move, you'd have to make sure you have plenty of bullpen arms because you don't expect a lot of innings from either Hefner or Batista (or Young, for that matter).

I thought it was going to be Niese, Hefner, Batista, Young and Gee. I don't know if that is going to happen.

If it does happen, it puts Santana to open up vs the yankees on Friday.

Like it or not but it's pretty clear they like Batista more than Hefner.

I believe it's Wheeler, Harvey, Santana, Dickey, and Verlander.

Did you think they were giving Verlander away?

Johan and Dick both throw bullpen sessions Monday after which Terry will know for sure if Dickey Wednesday and Johan Thursday doable.
