Mets promote Robert Carson, not Beato

I guess delaying the activation of Beato saves a roster spot for a few days.

Makes sense except for the fact that Collins seems terrified to put Carson in there. I guess they figure it still makes more sense since it allows them time.

Actually two guys that Collins will hesitate with...Carson and Elvin.

Not to mention Beato pitched 2 innings yesterday, have to figure he definitely wouldn't be available tonight.
