He was headed to college to play 3b

Oswalt, a third-baseman, grew up in San Diego, CA, and was a member of the 2011 Milwaukee Brewers Area Code team, later playing for the Rays Scout team in the Senior Fall Classic. Oswalt also was named to the Perfect Game All American Team in 2011. At 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, Oswalt is a physical player with the ability to drive the ball out of the ballpark.
"Corey is what every team is looking for, a big strong build with a strong arm and classic power at third base" said Black Bears Head Coach Tim Matz.
He's listed at 6-foot-4, 200 so he has projection in his body in addition to the rawness of pitching. I'm curious as to what Baseball America writes but he sounds like a project-type of pick.
Below average FB isn't great to hear but better than some utility player
I think he will throw harder than that when switched to pitching full time.
That's gotta be the hope. More experience and professional help with his delivery.
I have seen him maybe 2 or 3 times, he threw hard with nice movement. He has good size. UCSB has a stacked recruiting class with a new coaching staff. Mets will have to make it worth his while. Plenty of opportunity to improve stock at USCB.

My question is... it says he was headed to school to play 3b so if that's his preference then isn't it going to be tough to pry him away? and is this a talent worth paying for if that's the case? I don't know.
