nice, his pop's was a good player in the 80s. And his 1986 baseball card had an up close of those hilarious Pirates hats if i recall correctly

Claim to fame was last left-handed throwing catcher.
Also the 2010 Brooklyn hitting Coach, where his son worked out with the team, then moved up to Savannah, and then St. Lucie.
His track record says a lot about his coaching, having Cory Vaughn, Ceciliani, and the tweeners at Brooklyn excel.
Looks pretty okay in St. Lucie as well.

His father's place in Met history, aside from being a low-level hitting instructor, is breaking up David Cone's no-hit bid with a single not unlike Paul Hoover's in the 8th.
