The Phillies' LF somehow made 4 errors before being removed after 5 innings.

2 of the 4 k's were called strikes. I feel like this is part of Nimmo's being selective and patient in AB's. Probably taking pitches and getting deep into counts which will result in more strikeouts.

He needs to be more aggressive. In the 4 games I've seen he barely swings the bat at all.

Tapia scheduled to pitch either today or next Tuesday. Toby said it would happen "to complete the spin through the rotation after the all star break."

As long as he's pitching by then it's no big deal but I still believe there was more to this than precaution.

Metro - you're almost certainly spot on here. They said the same things initially last year regarding Familia around the same time, and then it was revealed he had a "shoulder impingement", IIRC.

Yeah, I'm both amused and concerned that they expect us to take this at face value.

Well considering the fact that being shut down this long means he won't be able to have extended outings initially vs. the "normal" alternative of skipping starts/shutting him down early.... lol

I know Tyler Pill isn't the most exciting prospect in the world, but how many times has a guy pitched 2 innings before a Minor League Thread was even started?

No respect for Pill.
