Beltre will retire a ranger and got to the HOF as a Ranger.
Ha. Makes sense. I just saw one more year left on the books and Texas' direction. I'll say Todd Frazier, then, I guess. 3rd base is weird.

1b- Dom 2b- Cecchini SS-Rosario 3B- Suarez (Dunn/Alonso/Flexen/Crismatt for Suarez and Hamilton) C- TDA RF- Conforto CF-Hamilton LF Cespedes
Suarez/Hamilton is an interesting suggestion. Not sure he's as good defensively as it looks. Home away splits are concerning since he plays in the Cincy bandbox.

No idea but I was watching Suarez the only night and guy can pick it. They have Senzel and they are rebuilding. I'd love to fill 2 holes at once and at least the idea isn't unrealistic spending wise. We'd automatically become SO MUCH BETTER defensively. 3b/CF/SS/1B/RF would all be plus fielders.
Suarez would be great, but with Cozart a free agent, I think the Reds move Suarez back to SS, where he plays when Cozart is on the DL. No reason for them to trade him, so the offer would have to be over the top.

Suarez was awful defensively at SS in Detroit.
You're right. I just checked. The Reds played him at SS in 2015 (he was bad then too), but only 2 games over 2016-17. So, I was probably wrong. My bad.
Senzel opens in AAA next year. He's in AA now. At minimum the Reds will try to get the extra year and wait the 16 or 20 days or whatever it works out to and if they want to go full Wilpon they could push it past Super-two.
I still have a tough time seeing them trade him this off-season, unless the offer is crazy good. I could see them trading him at next year's deadline.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's perfect but this off-season, I think he'd cost a gonzo-crazy retur.

I would say that they could slide Senzel over to second since Peraza and Herrera both look like busts but Scooter Gennett is apparently Rogers Hornsby these days.
