Thoughts?

1) Plawecki possibly turning into a starting caliber ML catcher
2) surplus of RP arms added to org
3) 6th pick in draft? I'm running out of things to mention...

The biggest positive would be that this was the worse negative and they make changes so they don't sink any further,

Conforto became an allstar...
TJR proved he's legit.
AJ Ramos is a legit setup/closer for 2018
Rosario is SS of the future.

Gsellman after a bad start, looked better lately.
Montero wasn't awful at the close.
Nimmo might be a starting OF.
Rosario & Dom need work but both could both be good players.
Thor learned that bulking up won't make him a better pitcher.
Harvey, bad as he was, is entering a contract season. 2018 will be his last run with the Mets for better or worse.
Most players (deGrom the exception) will get small arb raises.
and $20-30 million to spend.

I've always loved a good underdog story. Go Mets (2018). I know an underdog when I see one.

New manager.

And bad as it was, baseball is awesome.

It's over.

And at least I know now that baring some unexpected moves, I don't even like this team anymore. Maybe I can make some new exciting summer plans

deGrom = true ace.

Nimmo - highest jump from what I thought he was to what he proved to be.

Conforto - huge bounce back to star OFer, derailed by injury that leaves huge question mark in typical Met fashion.

Smith - big time power.

As long as David Wright is under contract.
