Against my better judgement went Dunn. Terrible season with poor reports but it "appears" his shoulder issue isn't a significant one and in a group of "meh" I'll go with the mid rotation/back end of a pen upside.

Dunn for me, too. Even if he was crap this year I'm not willing to write him off after one year. And the reports on Lindsay were even worse, to be honest.

I think Dunn is a valid pick if you look at the touches 99 and college upside. This year was clearly a down year for him. I went for Hizzoner.

Guillorme is an easy pick for me here.

Guillorme is arguably the most likely of these 4 to have a career that lasts several years. Dunn is potentially a starting pitcher or closer - nice upside. He also stunk this year. Kay might be a starter but he hasn't pitched. I think he's the biggest stretch of the 4 at least until he gets on the mound. Hizzonor is a guy to dream on. A potential 2 way player who hits and fields but OMG, he was worse than Dunn at least for the first couple months. To call his start bad is an insult to the word bad. Also, really injury prone. There's reasons to like Lindsay and reasons not to.

They're all flawed. I think you have to consider the guys who've played over the guy who hasn't at least for now. My order would be Lindsay, Dunn, Guillorme but Guillorme is the most likely to stick in the majors.

Even for admittedly horrible year, Lindsay had a 110 RC+ in the SALY and finished strong. Yes he needs to cut down on the Ks and stay on the field. But his ceiling if things come together is way higher than any in this group and probably the whole system. Just 20.

Going with Dunn. I maybe a fool to still hope he projects but still a believer in the talent. Dles would be my 2nd choice.

I think he might also be the most likely of these to one day be an all-star.

Not that I think that's likely, but I just think Dunn and Lindsay are extreme longshots at this point. If Bashlor were in the runoff, my decision might have been harder. Or even David Thompson. I can see the case for Kay though, as it is reasonable to think he might be back at 100% by the start of next season.

But I just didn't see Dunn and Lindsay in the conversation at all here. Generally, I'm looking for a combination of tools and performance. I see that in both Guillorme and Thompson. Performance for either isn't as high as I'd like, but tools for both are pretty solid. They definitely look like big leaguers to me, and most guys don't.

But performance for both Dunn and Lindsay this year, as well as Cecchini, was more like a black hole. And for these two, it was in A+ and A ball. These are C prospects, guys.

Guillorme is a guy who I think would fit comfortably into the 9-12 range in a good system. This isn't a good system.
