Is there a link to chat somewhere or did I miss it.
Oh and on the Becerra debate - I win.
BA vs BP
1) Gimenez / Gimenez 2) Peterson / Peterson 3) Dunn / Vientos (BP likes Vientos) 4) Alonso / Dunn (is the fact that Dunn is 3/4 a good sign for Dunn or a bad sign for everyone else?) 5) Szapucki / Szapucki - (how high would he be without Tommy John Surgery) 6) Vientos / Nido (BP likes Nido) 7) Molina / Alonso (BA too high on Molina?) Lindsay / Lindsay 9) Flexen / Flexen 10) Guillorme / Guillorme
Big differences
BP likes Vientos & Nido. BA likes Alonso & Molina. Otherwise, lists are virtually the same.

Disagree. I think the vast majority of NYFS members have already "given up" on Becerra. Ralf has been his #1 supporter (his right, not knocking him) but nobody was championing him here other than Ralf so what does this change? Jeff P simply confirmed what many on here felt.

I agree that his stock is pretty weak at this point. I just think he should fall somewhere from 25-35, not 40+.

Noting wrong with that. I feel the same with Ali Sanchez. To me he's still a top 30 guy, maybe top 25 but others feel he's fallen well below that. I'm open on feeling the same about Carpio but the thing about Sanchez is that he's a good defensive catcher. That gets him a big boost in my book. A good defensive 2nd baseman isn't that interesting. Carpio could bounce back, but he's around 40-45 to me now. Becerra, I don't really know wher to rank him, maybe 35-45 ish, but he's a tough guy to rank.

Hey part of the fun of prospects is liking who you like. Certainly within everyone’s right to have favorites (and others to present arguments for an against). I just think in this case Jeff’s comments are parroting the “consensus” (which I actually agree with). I don’t think there is suddenly going to be a huge “jumping of ship” because I think most people have already done so.
