No snark...

1. Robles: I think he gets him back on track
2. Matz
3. Gsellman
Harvey is a bit of a lost cause, perhaps.

Of position players...
1. Dom Smith: I think they will communicate very well, and Callaway will hold him accountable
2. Nimmo: I think Callaway will see the value here of potential OBP

I think all the starters get a bit of a bump from him. Wheeler will be interesting because I feel like he got an extra 20-30 pitches per start even when he was still a young pup. Getting him for five, six innings and out of there should work wonders. Matz, Gsellman, Lugo maybe should all benefit.

I agree on Nimmo, too.

Something seemed to be going on between Gsellman and team management last year. I don't know what but I remember some tension. Maybe I'm hoping for to much but I'd love to see the Mic fix Gsellman, Wheeler & Matz. That would save our season.

(am I asking for too much?) - probably.

It's probably too late to really reverse the abuse Terry heaped on every pitcher under his brutality.

Wheeler is broken
Matz is broken
Harvey's broken and done
Robles has a $0.10 head, Ollie Perez clone.
Gsellman regressed stuff/velo wise

Is this a serious post? How exactly did Terry 'break' Matz? He's a ming vase to start with. I'm sure Terry didn't have carte blanche to make Wheeler pitch the innings he did in 2014 without upper management's okay, and Harvey was definitely above Terry's paygrade.

It'll be nice next year when you can't blame every little thing including the World Series on Terry.

Yeah I'm guessing Gsellman in terms of pitchers I could see having a bounceback/breakthrough. Or Familia for that matter, since he's regressed each of the last few years.

Dan Warthen was/is a great pitching coach.

Even if you think this is the case, it doesn't negate any possibility of Callaway helping some of our pitchers.

No, but it sets the stage for his rebuttal if the Mets don’t immediately pick up the Supposed 10 wins or whatever his claim was that Terry and Warthen were costing them.

“Irreversible damage.”

Oh, right. That.
