His tools don't seem to translate at all in real games, but he reminds me of Timo Perez in spring training.

Have you seen his funky pre-bat ritual?

I don't remember what he does. What does he do?

There was a video on youtube. I think it was Mora. just a lot of swinging the bat around between pitches. maybe hes stopped. might have been a different met.

Either way, Mora is not going to be anyone's most important player this spring training. So back on topic please :)

Matz, because of upside and the fact we control him longer than Harvey. But on this team there are so many. Even with Matz and assuming Vargas is a competent 5th starter we need one more. Rosario needs to take the next step and i still have hope for Dom Smith. We absolutely need Conforto back full strength and playing like last season. And with Familia Ramos and Blevins approaching free agency we need to see at least one of these young bullpen arms emerge.
Oh wait, I just remembered. It's Tebow.

Its obviously Harvey and Matz. If they are good, this team is a playoff caliber team.

If they're good, we're probably better than the Nationals. But expecting Harvey, now in the Lincecum stage of his career, to be even league average is a serious stretch, and expecting Matz to pitch more than 120 innings is wishful thinking.

Cheech apparently put on 15 pounds of muscle over the off-season.

I'll put the over/under at 60.5 HR for him this season.

Isn't going to make a difference if he continues to slap the ball onto the ground.

This is why I said they are the most important. Do I believe they will both succeed? No.

Apparently a new swing, too. We'll see.
