Now, he's going to be unavailable at a minimum for a few days, but rather than DL him or option him or whatever, we're going to wait it out? WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY.
Day game today so they couldn't get a fresh body here anyway. I would imagine they will place him on the DL before Friday's game and recall Jacob Rhame.
They completed the Harvey deal at like 6:30 and Guillorme is here without an issue. Robles got hurt at, what, 8:30? 9? Is the 2 hour difference really changing anything?
Its a minor thing, but between recalling an unavailable Oswalt yesterday, leaving Robles active today, its just constant silliness with roster moves.

The whole treatment of Robles this year has been baffling.
First, he goes from a guaranteed spot and winter puff pieces (for like the 3rd straight year after we failed to address RHRP) to the minors. Good.
Then he gets immediately recalled and put into a setup role. Uhhhh.
After a hot start, the old warts start popping up and he gets sent back down. Good for the Mets for not really believing he's not just the same guy.
Then, he gets recalled and immediately he is inserted into a tie game in the 8th inning. What in the actual hell??

I just wanted to note that Nimmo has K'd I think 4 of his last 5 PAs.... basically the residue of Mick shutting down any momentum he had earlier in the year by his inaction for 2 weeks. What would anyone expect to happen?
I've often mocked that a baseball manager's job is really one of babysitting, as most of the functions are rudimentary such that really any baseball fan could perform them, and the "strategy" aspect of the game is so heavily dependent on the player performance rather than the manager move itself.
