Rookie maximums for at-bats (130), games pitched (30) or innings (50) in the major leagues"

If the 2 leaders are within 5% of each other, or the leader has less than 30% there will be a run-off between the top 2. If a run-off results in a tie the tiebreaker will be vote total in the previous poll, we will continue to "go back" in the polls until there is a clear leader.

There's got to be about 23 guys more deserving than Brailin Gonzalez. Am I rite or am I rite?

Disagree. Was one of the few FG's namechecked that's NOT on our list.

"Gonzalez, 19, is a semi-projectable lefty who can spin a plus slider. He sat in the upper-80s last year and needs more velo to come."

Upper 80's with a plus slider at 19 at 6'2 180, 53 k's over 51 innings with a 3.32 FIP, mentioned by 2 well known prospect writers has "60ish" guys better than him in a very thin system? On what planet?

Are we missing guys like Acosta and Otanez? Both were considered somewhat interesting at some point. Otanez returned from TJ in '18 so '19 will be a good time to put him under the microscope.

I'm sure I'm missing others who should merit consideration around this range.

Marcano likely belongs in the discussion as well. They gave him 4th round money and while the era was ugly.. he was 16! He's 6'3, has touched 94 and finished strong. I'm actually going to nominate him after Beracierta. I think he's a real sleeper.

Renteria reportedly touched 99 so I guess he should be in the discussion as well

Hansel Moreno? Edgardo Fermin?

Cesar Loaiza?

These are deep flyers at this point.

I like Fermin a bit. He's got gap power and can play a bunch of positions. He's worth an HM at least for sure.
