Lou behind the bench... the EGG line reunited... the ZZ Pops line the new number 1?... Matvichuk bringing much needed grit to the defense... and the best goaltender in the world anchoring the squad... 95, 00, 03, 07!

Parise and Zajac as usual are scrappy around the net... Parise whips the puck from out near the face-off circle and in!!! 1-0 Devils!

Oduya needs to go... he might be fast but he has not a clue of knowing how to position his buddy.

now it is 2-1 Devils... seriously Johnny loved you the first half of the year but I think Greene stays when Matvichuk comes back.

I have yet to be able to watch a game live since the national playoff coverage for the first round is terrible, but from what I have seen from the highlights, Brodeur does not look to be as dominant as he should be.

Am I right, or are the Tampa Bay goals just all off tips and deflections where it is almost impossible for him to even stop them?

Brodeur has to stop that St. Louis shot from the off-angle late in the 2nd period last night...really unaccustomed to seeing him give up softy like that.

Big game tonight down in Tampa.

I was disappointed to see them come out so flat early on Saturday night. We've been great at home all year, and the loss really surprised me.

But now it's on to Tampa for a best of 5. Marty's due to steal a game, but St. Louis and Lecavalier really seem to be on their game. And there's not much Madden and Pandolfo can do when each of them play half the game.

I'd like the EGG line to have a big night. It's time for them to step up and be the no. 1 line for the rest of the playoffs. Zach's line won't stop chipping in, but they can't (and shouldn't have to) carry the load offensively.

7pm start. Shoot high, boys!!!

Really? Wasn't the whole reason your GM took over as coach because the Devs lacked any edge or sense of urgency? It shouldn't be shocking that they lost that game and it shouldn't be shocking that they probably won't start playing like they can until they lose at least one more...
