New York Daily News reports Knicks coach Isiah Thomas has been told he will not return as coach next season.

Per ESPN bottom line. I'll look for a link.

Nothing official yet but it does look like it will be either Mark Jackson or JVG coming back.

Same here... JVG can coach and will get this team to be at least decent. Jackson does not have head coaching experience but he was a true floor general and if he is surrounded by some good veteran nba assistants he could blossom.

I doubt JVG will be subjecting himself to 3-4 years of bad basketball.

I was hoping the Nets would fire Lawrence Frank and hire Mark Jackson.

Donnie Walsh has some heavy lifting to do. This once respected, and beloved franchise is a soap opera whose chief players are the dolans. Isaiah should have been fired last year. He lost respect of the players on the knicks. add the off the court drama involving thomas and some of the players, the results of this past season are predictable

Thomas is fired. but can walsh work around the dolans?

Perhaps to save face on paying his salary. You know how Dolan is like.
