With another 4-5 strong seasons, he has a shot. Considering the barometer for switch-hitting Hall of Fame centerfielders is set at Mickey Mantle, he's got a ways to go.

Jim Edmonds gets in before Beltran, and I don't think he gets in either.

If he has another 4-5 strong seasons, he'll have Edmonds beat in pretty much all of the counting stats.
Beltran is not there yet, but 8 100-RBI seasons out of his first 10 years in the league (he's on pace for #8 this year) is pretty impressive for a CF. Add to that gold glove caliber defense.
If he can put up a few more seasons of 25-30 HR and 100+ RBI I don't see why he wouldn't be seriously considered.
Current:
251 HR 946 RBI
on pace for
259 HR 984 RBI
by season's end
add
5 x 30 HR and 5 x 100 RBI
He'll end up with 409 HR and 1484 RBI at age 36.
Like most HoFers, Beltran's eligibility will be dependent upon his longevity. If he can play well into his late-30s he has a good shot, but if he has a Shawn Green decline he can forget it.
