I was surprised with the Falcons trading all those picks for Julio Jones. Him and Roddy can be a very nice tandem.

On the other hand, you have the Patriots. I understand they like stock-piling picks but it's not like they are a bad team that is rebuilding and wants extra picks. Would they have been better off taking Ingram or one of the DE's at #28?

I refuse to apply logic to that team's draft repertoire. It went from being cute to Machiavellian genius to petty.

Walter's Football Re-Mock Rounds 2 & 3:
http://walterfootball.com/draft2011redraft_2.php

Quote:
Buffalo Bills: Andy Dalton, QB, TCU
The Bills are seemingly interested in a quarterback. Think back to the infamous Andre Reed Tweet-gate. Or the fact that Christian Ponder tweeted "Buffalo" on Wednesday. The best quarterback available is Andy Dalton, and the Bills have shown interest in him. Chan Gailey coached Dalton in the Senior Bowl.

Quote:
New York Giants: Mikel Leshoure, RB, Illinois
The Giants love taking the best player on their board, and that could be Mikel Leshoure in this scenario.

Brandon Jacobs' days in New York are numbered, and the coaching staff is not confident in Ahmad Bradshaw's ability to stay healthy for a whole season.

http://walterfootball.com/draft2011redraft_3.php

Quote:
Buffalo Bills: Sam Acho, DE/OLB, Texas
The Bills missed out on Von Miller, so they pick up a much-needed outside pass-rusher atop Round 3.

Quote:
New York Giants: Luke Stocker, TE, Tennessee
New York could stand to improve the tight end position; Kevin Boss is a decent player, but he's nothing special. Luke Stocker is a steal in the middle of Round 3.

Quote:
New York Jets: Greg Salas, WR, Hawaii
It doesn't seem like the Jets will be able to re-sign both Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards. If one walks, New York will need a new wideout.

I am not too enthralled going for skilled positions with both Day 2 picks.

Any chance Rahim Moore or Bruce Carter drop to the Jets in the 3rd? I wouldn't think so, but those are the two I would like.

Has anyone seen Anthony Costanzo play? Colts picked him up in the first round

Sorry I'm late!

49ers seemed to panic about talk the Raiders were charging toward getting Kaepernick and traded up.

Titans just took Akeem Ayers.

Pats opened up by taking Ras-I Dowling.

Bills take CB/S Aaron Williams.

Bengals exhale and take Andy Dalton. Carson Palmer sweepstakes is open for business!

Browns continue on the defensive line wiht Jabaal Sheard.

Broncos have back to back picks now with the trade down with San Francisco.

Cardinals go offense but they do not go QB. They take VT RB Ryan Williams.

Oh my! Cowboys take Bruce Carter. Potentially good sidekick to Ware.

Jarvis Jenkins was taken before Clemson teammate DaQuan Bowers. To quote Tim Curry in Clue, "This is getting serious."

I love that Aaron Glenn is representing the Texans. I was blanking on notable ex-Texans. Good selection with Brooks Reed.

Redskins Radio Pravda reporting the team is 'high' on Rex Grossman. That is not a euphemism so... maybe no QB today.

Vikings take Rudolph, thank goodness. I was not into the Giants picking him especially when there is this operating assumption that there exists an upgrade (okay, sidekick) over Kevin Boss in Day 2.

NO!!!!!! Al Davis took Stefan Wisniewski! Somewhat sane pick and that's a goodbye to Robert Gallery. Michael Lombardi on NFLN says they want to move up in the second round again foregoing next year's second round pick in the process. Something tells me they are hot on Mallett.

Broncos with their back to back picks go pretty safe with Rahim Moore and Orlando Franklin.

Oh, Spags. Did you not learn from your last year with the Giants that had us taking an undersized TE from Wisconsin?

Ijalana and Wisniewski are both gone so that bums me out a little. Hudson from FSU could be an option.

San Diego's draft really does not look remarkable at all.

Tampa picks Bowers.

Giants pick up now. Leshore from Illinois, Hudson from FSU, Stephen Paea from Oregon State, Martez Wilson from Illinois, or Marvin Austin from UNC. Apart of me would be completely fine with a trade down but looks like it will not happen.
