“Just saw Wilmer Flores have a beautiful first-inning at-bat,” he texted me. “This guy looks like a stud. He falls behind, 0-2, works count to 3-2, fouls off a couple of tough pitches, and is struck by a pitch on the left forearm, which is incorrectly ruled a foul ball.
